About the Role

As the Airfreight Manager Malaysia ,you will be reporting to the Managing Director of Malaysia with a dotted line to the Regional Airfreight Product Head Working with a high performing business and an exciting team of people, your overall objective is to manage the country Airfreight Product and P&L for Malaysia

Your responsibilities are but not limited to
Ensure all Hellmann Compliance polices related to Airfreight are strictly implemented and adhered toManage the implementation of the product, external and internal promotion and further development of new and existing airfreight products (import/export) for Malaysia
Safeguard the development of local consolidation and support regional HUB/Gateway

Support the Managing Director and Regional airfreight product head in regards to the implementation of the airfreight strategy

Responsible for the development of trade lanes

Identify and approach strategic airfreight accounts

Provide risk analysis and be part of the decision making team on any investments required

Manage country budgets and forecasts

Develop a procurement strategy in conjunction with Hellmann's Global Airfreight Team

Assist in negotiating capacity contracts on hand with Regional/ Global Airfreight Team

Ensure carrier spend is in accordance with carrier classification targets

Overall year on year product growth and report Airfreight development to Managing Director

Develop financial Budget vs Actual, Trade lanes, Core Carrier and others)

Support in acquiring new business and expansion of existing Airfreight business

Joint field sales where required

Optimize structure and associated productivity within the airfreight division – aiming for best practice

Establish and cement relationships with key carriers

Requirements for the Role
