Position Summary

We are currently looking to hire an Area Sales Manager to develop Local Modern Trade accounts for total Malaysia market Reporting to the Regional Sales Manager, the talent will lead sales planning and execution, towards Energizer’s growth and contribute to overall sales revenue Role also includes customer business review, budget management, competitor activity analysis, product analysis and performance

This is an ideal role for an experienced and highly motivated sales talent who is looking to be successful in a well-known international MNC, and comfortable to travel regularly between East and West Malaysia for business purposes

Manage total Malaysia Key Account for Local Chain GroupWork closely with RSMs on the planning and execution on timeMain person to negotiate Trading Terms Agreements with Local Chain, including business reviewSales performance delivery (for the selective chain group assigned by Energizer)Field work with CRO/Merchandiser on coaching and development purposeProactively involve in monthly action plan and sales commitmentPlan 3+3 promotion plans for LMT / Special Channel customer
Required Skills and Experience
Diploma but Degree in Business preferred3-6 years’ Area Sales / Key Account Sales experience, handling key customer and account development planning across local chainsDistributor sales and operations management, support distributors in developing pre-sellers and run promotion planning activitiesGood communication and negotiation skills, able to interact and business partnering with sales / internal / external parties effectivelyRegular usage on Excel (using VLookup and Pivot Table for mass data analysis and maintenance) and Powerpoint (for summary input and presentation)Business mindset, ROI-driven, willing to work under pressure environment and achieve success
