About the role

General Accounting
Work closely with Shared Service Centre for full spectrum of data entry in Record To Report (RTR) tower.Review completion and preparation of journals entries as part of the period end closing activities within corporate timeline.Prepare Balance Sheet Reconciliation schedules and manage open items with key business stakeholdersMaintain General Ledger data integrity, identify issues, unreconciled and aged itemsCustodian of General Ledger master data including creation of GL account, cost enter and internal order.Review and verify intercompany reconciliation and confirmation of balances to resolve discrepancies.Tracking of fixed assets, analyse depreciation movement and accounting for the disposal of fixed asset.Provide support and attend to request from business such as generate reporting on timely manner.

Financial Reporting
Perform detailed account analysis including GR/IR accounts, freight and customs clearing.Participate and support Manager in review of financial results with commentariesEnsure accuracy and timely submission of reporting in compliance IFRS / MPERS and group accounting policies.Work with interdepartmental and Shared Service Centre when issues arise on General Ledger function.Review and ensure timely submission of local government reporting.Regional reports submission according to region and global deadline.Update global master SOP and internal SOP to reflect changes in process.Continuously improve of work process and documentation in General Ledger.To perform any ad-hoc duties assigned from time to time.

Compliance Management
Prepare integrity reports for internal and external audit complianceEnsure the alignment of internal processes with Corporate Guidelines

Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor's Degree, Post Graduate Diploma, ProfessionalDegree, Finance/Accountancy/Banking or equivalent.Minimum 5 year(s) of working experience in the related field, and shared service experience inMNC.Possess strong analytical and problem solving skills.Result oriented and capable of handling tight deadlines and pressures.Show excellent interpersonal skills and willing to work with cross functional teams.Preferably candidate with SAP experience
