Job Requirements:Candidate must possess at least a Degree or equivalent.Strong verbal and written skills in Bahasa Malaysia, EnglishMinimum 6 years of working experience as Area/ Operation Manager overseeing a few stores for high turnover cash and carry / hypermarket / supermarket with more than 100 staffs each store under your supervision is a MUST.Candidate without 6 yeras working experience as top management in Hypermark DOES NOT need to applyAble to work under pressure, fast paced environment and long hoursStrong interpsersonal skills and ability to solve practical problemsGood human management skillsWilling to be based in any branch on short term basis as and when necessarJob Responsibilities:To assist the Area Manager to oversee, monitor and improve the operation of all branches in the assigned area, ensuring the branches consistently achieving the targeted performance set by the Top ManagementTo assist the Area Manager to improve all branches under his supervision to achieve Company’s Goal in term of performance, profit and business growth.To monitor and guide all branches’ operational processes and practices are adhere to Company General Standard Operating Procedures and other guidelines.To supervise, coach and grow all Branch Managers under his supervisionResponsible to help to improve the efficiency of support services like communication channels to ensure free flowing communication amongst the stores and HQ.To work hand-in-hand with Area Manager to serve as a link between The Top Management and the individual outlet manager in order to develop and implement new plans/ideas that will enhance the operations of the company.To assist in the recruitment of staff, establish work schedules for staff being put in place, and evaluate staff performance at the end of a given periodResponsible to help in planning and supporting marketing and sales activities for the branches.Responsible to check on individual branches to make sure they are fully stocked and operationalResponsible to discipline Branch Managers who go against company work ethics and also retrench workers who tend to embark on procedures that are detrimental to company activitiesResponsible to recommend performance-based bonuses/salary increments that are given to Branch Managers and other operational executives.Responsible to give feedback to Top Management on how the branches functions on a regular basis.To ensure efficient workforce allocation at all branches at all times.To consistently check to ensure the proper maintenance and upkeep of all branches.To check and monitor the efficient ordering of goods and sufficient stock supply at all branchesTo be responsible for on time submission of all required reports.To check, monitor and all Branches achieving minimum wastages
