Job Description

Residence Department in Sunway Education Groupwelcomes interested candidates to submit their resume for the above stated vacancy with the following job specifications

Roles and Responsibilities

Be in charge of the operations of the Marketing and Reservation teams
to ensure all residences are marketed and promoted to targeted customers
to maintain and increase occupancy of the residences
to review pricing, products and services offered

Marketing
develop a pricing strategyin consideration ofcustomer satisfaction and profit maximisation
identifyand research on potential customers, demands and competitors as part of the marketing strategy
support sales and lead generation efforts, which includes creatingpromotions with advertising managers
understand and develop budgets, including expenditures, research and development appropriations, return-on-investment and profit-loss projections
develop and manage marketingcampaigns to build brand awareness and positioning
direct, plan,coordinate and communicate marketing efforts and plans to internal and external stakeholder
handle social media, public relation efforts, and content marketing

Reservation
ensure all enquiries and applications are processed accurately on a timely basis
manage and guide the reservation team members to meet and exceed budgeted targets, andconstant delivery of excellent Guest and customer service
monitor revenue variance, constantly, to identify areas of concern and build an approach to maximize revenue
understand the competitive marketplace through analysis of trends and data and build a strategic approach to manage trends
monitor feedback from stakeholders and identify critical area for improvements

Facilitate the collaborations between various teams within the Residence
chair regular department meetings and/ or represent the team in department meetings
ensure smooth running of the Marketing and Reservation team
be aware of a critical issue at each residence and provide guidance and support to resolve the matters
ensure smooth and timely internal communication and encourage collaborations between teams

To take up the role as stay-in warden and be responsible to the issues arose concerning residents during non-office hours

Be in charge of recruitment and development of staff Reinforced positive work ethics and monitor operations efficiency to support key objectives

Be responsible for the overall financial performance of the Residence, which includes preparation of annual business plan and budget for Marketing and Reservation team and provide monthly update to the Directors

Build and develop a winning culture at the Residence with mutual respect and trust among staff, continuouslearning and problem-solving culture, andhigh quality customer service

Manage relationships with various university counterparties in regard to marketing and reservation related matters

Requirements

Possess Bachelors Degree in related field
Minimum 4- 6years of related working experience
Possess excellent leadership, mentoring and planning skills
High level of initiative and the ability to drive and lead change
Dynamic, excellent interpersonal and communication skills both written and verbal
Independent and able to interact with people at all levels
Flexible and adaptable work attitude
