Summary of Role
Advise and respond to members and customers via phone, email and chat to answer questions, offer guidance, process orders and assist with membership
Accountabilities and Responsibilities
Deliver a quick, efficient and memorable customer service experienceDrive positive survey responses and member loyalty to enhance the Association’s reputationDocument relevant information/transactions related to each customer contact in various systemsCollaborate with immediate and partner teams to resolve member/customer issuesDevelop subject matter expertise on Service Center’s policies and proceduresAchieve qualitative and quantitative service level metricsOffer suggestions and solutions to improve the member/customer experience and internal processesPerform other duties as assigned
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities Required
Excellent listening skills and the ability to ask probing questions, understand concerns, and overcome objectionsStrong work ethic and self-starter, able to effectively manage multiple priorities and adapt to change within a fast-paced business environmentProficient in computer data entry, techniques, and proceduresClear, effective and professional communication orally and in writingTechnical adeptness and ability to quickly learn new systemsAbility to follow policies, procedures, and complianceDedication to providing high-quality, professional customer servicePunctuality and effective time managementAbility to problem solve complex tasksProficiency in MS office (MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook etc)
Required Experience, Qualifications & Education
High school diploma with some collegeExcellent command of EnglishBachelor’s degree2 or more years of previous customer service or sales experience
