Job Description

Responsible for providing overall leadership for IT program and portfolio implementation within the Company Acting as the interface between IT Data management and business units, the role looks at roadmap and system architecture and oversees user requirements in support of Company’s profitability and sustainable growth objectives

Responsible for developing and drive the overall IT Strategy for Data Management with the objective to promote the use of IT solutions to create strategic business advantages for the company As well, develop the centers of excellence for IT team to pool, nurture and sustain important IT skills

Job Responsibilities

Portfolio Management
• To lead and formulate an integrated information strategy plan to support business requirements and enhance the ability of the business lines to execute their strategies
• To optimize and assurance of utilization of resource, investments and delivery time for responsible portfolio(s)
• To assess portfolio risk of performance and delivery and develop necessary mitigation strategies
Stakeholder Management
• To manage, optimize and prioritize business demands in relation to business value generation and resource capacity with all business unit heads
• To manage, negotiate and influence relationships with senior leadership team and managers (inter and intra divisional) to deliver credible and consistent solution services
• To manage, negotiate and influence vendor, business partner and GroupIT relationships to provide delivery flexibility
Strategic Planning
• Formulate and determine the long and mid-term strategic plan of the unit aligning to IT and business strategic priorities and objectives for responsible portfolio(s)
• Identify and develop strong leadership and individual contributors to build a high performing team to maximize delivery to support business demands
• Lead and influence the culture and governance on cost-efficient, agile and flexible delivery of IT solutions
• Formulate policies, procedures, standards and best practice to drive center of excellence for IT solutions
People Development & Management
• To lead, attract and retain high quality individual contributors to build the strategic and operational capabilities and sustainable by setting clear direction, goals and engaging staff to translate these into personal actions, developing the leaders and high performers through effective learning and development and driving right way for effective and quality processes mind set
• To manage and optimize resource planning and utilization to deliver maximum output to support business demands
• To coach and mentor team to acquire the technical and soft skills to execute their jobs
• To engage team performance and individual development plan in alignment to IT strategic plan

Job Requirements

• Degree in IT from an accredited institution Master’s degree is preferred
• More than 10 years of experience in IT Data Management environment, with 10-12 years in supervisory experience on the supported IT domain
• Sound experience in managing IT projects and portfolios with high level of expertise relations to formulation of business case and implementation plan till benefit realization
• Strong communication skills with ability to communicate with senior management team, internal & external stakeholders
• Strong analytical and decision-making skills
• Strong leadership capabilities that can lead, influence and motivate to create a high performing team
