JOB RESPONSIBILITIES Reporting to AVP who manages the portfolio covering all International channels and brands- from innovation strategy content planning and curation for On Demand Linear and OTT content brands with aim to deliver best in class pay TV service increase and sustain customers and rsquo subscription and improve profitability To be the key custodian for one of the key genres in International Business pillars- General Entertainment Movies Factual Kids Korean Japanese that focuses on content 360- from content planning and scheduling to communications plan with general KPI in mind to increase ARPU customer base channel or content performance To support innovations to portfolio i e ideas beyond BAU On Demand and linear content deliverable that would delight subscribers increase or sustain customer base and ARPU increase content performance To initiate ideas and special projects that improves customer loyalty to Astro services or content brands To initiate content curation for On Demand linear and OTT to enhance customer experience in consuming content To establish good relationship with international channel partners and execute overall channel operations work hand-in-hand with Operations team ensuring localisation of content brands on On Demand linear and OTT i e metadata subtitling dubbing updating EPG overall presentation and material deliveries are done in timely manner to maximise customer experience in discovering and consuming content on Astro services To also oversee local content production initiated by content partners to ensure it is relevant for local customers To keep up with international and local content trends and able to advise on suitability of new content channels and evaluate such content accordingly to fit local market To be able to collect data and work on content performance analysis and conduct observation and research that support key performance review and renewal negotiations To support effective ATL and BTL communication and marketing promotional plans with AVP Marketing team Promo team internal and external stakeholders to achieve respective KPIs- achieve brand awareness downloads ratings increase subscription and revenues To support effective communication and marketing promotional plans on Digital and Social Media platforms inhouse and paid networks that support key campaigns and daily content push To monitor key social media conversations and buzz To establish good relationship with internal stakeholders especially Customer Division team in working on increasing ARPU initiatives and Media Sales team in pushing for channel ad sales and sponsorship revenues Be in the know of key terms of negotiations needed for renewals and for new channels content acquisition and licensing for linear and VOD REQUIREMENTS Degree or equivalent in media studies communication or marketing or related field At least with 2 year s experience in the broadcasting industry in the area of content programming promotions He She need to be able to operate in dynamic environment with a strong degree of personal initiative and drive He She will be required to draw on the strengths and resources of various functional units to ensure the timely implementation of business unit initiatives Good attitude and willing to learn new processes always resourceful Good communication skill is essential with good command of English as he she will be dealing with International content suppliers based in US UK HK Singapore etc and ndash must be able to read and write fluently English and BM Has some form of knowledge and interest on International programming channels i e HBO AXN Diva TVN etc
