Job Description

Responsibilities -
To provide technical support and is entrusted to provide a resolution when an incident arises on all servicesTo be able to provide troubleshooting over the phone and achieve high first time fixesTo log calls and perform necessary follow-up and accurate updates in the Service Desk Application - Service Desk PortalTo provide proper and accurate dissemination of information to the team as per approved work flows, policies & procedures and to provide positive feedback to enhance efficiency and productivityTo continuously ensure that all IT services work flows, guidelines, policies and procedures are adhered to and to be able to educate users during breachesTo ensure information security is practiced at all timesTo contribute knowledge documents as and when necessary especially when a there is no troubleshooting guide available for new scope of workTo be able to communicate well in the English language and Bahasa MalaysiaTo be able to work with other service desk engineers and is a team player and should be able to work independently when required
Requirements -
Bachelor's Degree (Computer/Telecommunication), Computer Science/Information Technology or equivalentFresh graduates are encouraged to applyCall center or help desk experience will be an added advantageBasic knowledge of the IT infrastructure which includes network, application, systems and operational supportFamiliar with Windows 98 / 2000 / XP / Vista / 7 platformsFamiliar with Ms Office (Microsoft Outlook) applicationsKnowledge in NetworkingExcellent communication skillsFluency in English and Bahasa Malaysia (Spoken & Written), knowledge of other languages is an advantagePleasant, pro-active and service oriented
