Job Description

RESPONSIBILITIESEdit visuals, stories, packages for bulletins and non-bulletin programmes to set deadlines;Ensure that quality of visual edits for packages are delivered to broadcast standards;Work & deliver according to Approved Workflows/Standard Operating Procedures & Standard Workflow Procedures;Produce best quality visual edits within budget;Assist & support editorial teams of bulletin & non-bulletin shows in terms of visuals/edits and all other materials;Identify possible or emerging problems relating to functional areas;Execute solutions, in consultation with supervisor, editorial and/or BOE;Carry out all assigned duties with full commitment and dedication;Develop skills in related functions by learning through the production process (Multitasking).REQUIREMENTSCandidate must possess at least a Degree / Diploma in related field;Minimum 1 year experience in non-linear systems, preferably AVID /FCP;Experience in video editing in broadcast news or news related programming;Timely ability to deliver good quality edits under pressure;Keen interest & understanding of news & current affairs;Bilingual - fluent in Bahasa Malaysia & English;Good knowledge of latest TV & broadcast technology;Meticulous & methodical;Good team player.
