What is the opportunity
Investor & Treasury Services Malaysia is a processing center of operational excellence supporting 10 countries across three geographic time zones The country employs a global operating model to maximize efficiencies across time zones and supports a 24/5 operations

As a Business Analyst, you will be responsible to effectively support the broader strategic organization’s vision and contribute to a team with global control of the analysis, monitoring and policing of OPM, to work with various business functions, including non-Line Ops functions to outline business problems and opportunities, and to solve process-related problem, to interpret and articulate business requirement to Senior Leadership and Management team, providing opportunities and solutions using strong analytical skills, to conduct meetings with business functions; research processes, collecting data and analyzing information
In this role the incumbent will be required to communicate detailed analysis and finding to executives, business leads and team members on a regular basis

This role will be supporting Malaysia business with standard working hours between 900AM and 600PM

What will you do
• Ensure quality information collection for adequacy, accuracy and legitimacy of data, including data profiling to identify and understand anomalies
• Developing and implementing data analyses, data collection systems and other strategies that optimize statistical efficiency and quality
• Interprets pattern and trends within Client Operations and turn it into information used to improve the business
• Collaborate with business functions, including Global Risk Management, Business FTE Management, HR and Finance to correlate various data for comprehensive KPI, KQI and KRI performance assessment
• Creating and enforcing policies for effective data management, reporting efficiency and quality including establishing rules and procedures for data sharing with upper management, external stakeholders
• Design, produce and deliver continual global and industrial standard reporting – delivered to GOLT, GOMT and Operating Committee
• Responsible for reviewing and challenging the GOLT on metrics, to allow successful delivery of information to Global Head, Client Operations, so business decisions can be made
• Re - develop metrics and ensure standard delivery in all countries as well as to use Tableau data visualization tool to enhance existing manual reporting into interactive dashboard

What do you need to succeed

Must-have
• Post-secondary education with an accounting/finance concentration or equivalent experience
• Experience in performance management and project improvement
• Excellent communication skills to liaise with executives
• Excel – the ability to use and create pivot tables, nested if statements, advanced formatting techniques and VBA
• Access – strong understanding of queries, macros, forms, and the ability to link data between other Office products such as SharePoint and Excel
• Tableau – the ability to build dashboard and advanced coding techniques
