Background to the positionThe primary objective of this role is to centralized bank s task and treasury support within R2R - Cash management function which includes streamlining/implementing improvement in the process and stabilizing on new tasks migrate to KL GFS.Job DescriptionsResponsible for bank account management related activities, e.g. compilation & submission of required documents for (opening/ closing/ maintenance of) bank accounts and (guarantee) facilities to banks, maintain & update bank mandates, bank approval limit, etc.Responsible as the banking system administrator which includes maintaining and reviewing the bank user/profile for all the banks etcResponsible for monthly reporting on global bank balances to Group Treasury including comments on the variancesInvolve in cash management daily activities (bank statement upload, daily reconciliation, bank reconciliation) & assist on audit request as requiredContinuously drive for improvement & streamline processes within cash management functionUnderstand and ensure compliance with Treasury Management StandardKey contact for projects under cash management functions includes ad-hoc requests, divestments, acquisitions & response/handle in a timely and professional mannerSupport Group Treasury and Bank’s requirement as requiredMaintain relationships with banks and Group Treasury and be the go to person for bank related requirementsDesired Skills and ExperiencesMinimum Degree in Accounting / Finance or equivalent1 – 3 years’ relevant experience in cash management/ treasury role is an advantageAbility to identify risk areas and action upon, else escalate to managerGood communicator, confident in interacting with all levels of individuals across a variety of internal functions (remote or on site) with excellent interpersonal skill to build relationships with a range of stakeholdersAbility to effectively manage time and resources against agreed deadlinesFlexibility and “can do” attitude to ensure that task is achievedPossess accounting & analytical skills, problem solving, attention to detail and is highly logical and numerateAbility to work in a complex, fast paced environment and respond under ambiguous situationsAbility to present ideas and opinions in a collaborative, credible and influential mannerA continuous improvement mind-set and experience in process improvement will be an added advantageAppreciate result-oriented culture and environment
