Job Description

At Transcosmos Malaysia Sdn Bhd (TCMY), is seeking a Full-Time Category Associate (Health & Beauty) to join Global E-Commerce Office This position will provide support to various functions of marketing, including assistance with departmental projects, On-line and offline sales promotional plans, store management, product training and communications to the field as it pertains to Marketing Initiatives The ideal candidate for this role will be successful in communicating effectively with business partners, different channel and corporate personnel, and maintain a strong attention to detail with the ability to continuously meet sales and deadlines

Duties and Responsibilities

Collaborate with internal departments and external service providers to reach resolution to various marketing issues that arise, as appropriate

Conduct Brand and Product training

Prepare and distribute marketing related communications to store locations, as needed

Retail Store Management

Manage paperwork and internal procedures

Research products, projects and concepts relevant to the Marketing department

Assist with execution of social media, digital marketing, promotional events and category plans

Perform category analysis and product performance

Direct report to Category Head (Health & Beauty)

Work closely with HQ Global Merchandising Team in Tokyo, Japan

Any other ad-hoc tasks assigned by Company

Essential Knowledge / Experience

Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or related field, and at least 2 - 5 years of work related experience in health & beauty or consumable goods industry

Knowledge of handling retail business

Solid understanding of basic marketing and category management principles, merchandising methods and consumer psychology

Proficient with Microsoft Office programs, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint

Ability to maintain professional work relationships and work independently

Possesses professional communication skills in English, ability to read/write Mandarin is an added advantage

Strong attention to detail, and organizational skills

Ability to provide strong support to the team

Entrepreneurial spirit, analytical and not afraid of risks and challenges

Strong Passion to create new business trend using online and offline channel

Team player, able to connect his/her business areas with other Company departments
