Job Description

The Universal Banker is an entry level position responsible for the assistance in the execution of sales, products or service activities in coordination with the customer service team The overall objective of this role is to foster relations with customers to build loyalty and to help increase sales to individual consumer clients
Responsibilities
Deliver high quality customer service, and respond to and resolve account service issuesTransform service transactions to sales opportunities, complete various financial transactions and refer opportunities to segment partners where appropriateEducate customers on utilizing available access channels (ie ATM, Online and Telephone Banking) and product lines across businessExecute basic account opening for existing customers (when needed) and refer opportunities to segment partners where appropriateParticipate in sales/ service activities within the branch including seminars, micromarketing events, promotional campaigns, product initiatives, etcAdhere to operational controls, including legal, corporate, and regulatory procedures to ensure the safety and security of customer and bank assetsAppropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating particular consideration for the firm's reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients and assets, by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations, adhering to Policy, applying sound ethical judgment regarding personal behavior, conduct and business practices, and escalating, managing and reporting control issues with transparency

Qualifications
Previous relevant experience requiredConsistently demonstrates clear and concise written and verbal communication skillsConsistently demonstrates reliable analytic skills

Education
Bachelor's Degree/University degree or equivalent experience
