JOB DESCRIPTIONManage the magnetic media library which contains information from multiple system for Disaster Development and Recovery Data Centre Responsible for classifying cataloguing and removing the magnetic media for Disaster Development and Recovery Data Centre Store and organise the magnetic media by user multiple system and cycle and retention period Remove the magnetic media according to the requirements of operating timetable requested by Computer Operator or user Records and retains the magnetic media after completed Check and update inventory record to verify that records are accurate Check and monitor magnetic media status to ensure it is always in a good condition Monitor and control the requirement related with magnetic media and library maintenance Ensure the stock of magnetic media is sufficient to facilitate planning and budget preparation Document and update the procedure of magnetic media management Check and monitor health status of magnetic media Ensure the Tape Library environment is clean and in order Check and verify records of IT assets and moveable assets Manage the disposal of IT assets and moveable assets Perform other duties as per Management s requirements or instructions from time to time Adhere to and carry out duties in accordance with ITIL s terms processes and procedures that relate to the working environment of staff JOB REQUIREMENTSDegree in Computer Science Information Technology or equivalent qualifications recognised by the Malaysian governmentKnowledge in AS400Capable on Clerical job using tools such as Microsoft Office words PowerPoint excel etc Advantage to have multimedia IT knowledgeAbility and willingness to take ownership of tasks and support requests with minimum supervisionGood follow-through and problem solving skills resourcefulness and attention to detailGood organisation and time managementGood interpersonal and communication skills both verbal and writtenMalaysian citizen21 years old or abovePass Malay Language including oral test at Sijil Pelajaran Malaysia SPM level or equivalent as recognized by the GovernmentJOB STATUSContract and non executiveAll applications are strictly CONFIDENTIAL and only shortlisted candidates will be called in for interview Applications are deemed UNSUCCESSFUL if there is no feedback from the EPF 3 MONTHS after the closing date of advertisement
