Job Description SummaryIn support of the IHS Markit Technology Customer Experience including Customer and Market Communications as well as Product Marketing functions this position is responsible for the creation development and editing of public-facing content related to marketplace themes and business line product offerings This position will work closely with various line-of-business and corporate teams and ndash including but not limited to TMT and RootMetrics analysts Creative Services Public Relations Social Media and Web Digital Marketing and ndash to ensure effective communications materials are created finalized and propagated Job DescriptionPrinciple DutiesContributing and adhering to defined editorial formats including the posting and development of social elements of each content asset produced Editing finalizing posting and distributing Product Briefs Datasheets Research Notes and other marketing materials which may include articles presentations website landing pages event content and other sales enablement tools Maintaining updating cataloging and monitoring the status and timeliness of Product Briefs Datasheets Performing layout design and file management functions for all assigned content assetsCoordinating and qualifying the translations of content assets Required Experience and SkillsDemonstrated excellent written communications skills including the ability to independently write and edit customer-facing external communications Ability to take technical data and complex subject matter and explain in an approachable and engaging manner English-language editorial skills including substantive editing copy editing and proofreading Expert knowledge and application of AP Style Ability to develop and maintain strong working relationships across teams and disciplines globally Proficient with Microsoft Office 365 Microsoft Teams Adobe InDesign and related editorial software programs Enhanced knowledge of CMS systems and social media protocols Past examples of authored materials and one or more writing tests will be required to be considered Other SkillsHigh degree of motivation and innovative spirit Excellent multitasking and organizational abilities Detail-oriented and able to maintain a high level of accuracy Ability to adapt quickly to changing priorities and processes Secondary language skills including Mandarin Japanese and Korean are optimal
