Job Description

Provides professional management for Cenviro Group of Companies financial accounts and analysis in support of their set targets

Determines cost of operations by establishing standard costs; collecting operational dataIdentifies financial status by comparing and analyzing actual results with plans and forecastsGuides cost analysis process by establishing and enforcing policies and procedures; providing trends and forecasts; explaining processes and techniques; recommending actionsImproves financial status by analyzing results; monitoring variances; identifying trends; recommending actions to managementAnalyze cost accounting data and varainces as well as assisting in cycle count/physical inventoriesAssist in month-end closing, prepare/post journal entries as necessary, analyse inventory revaluation, inventory roll forward etcPrepare detailed account analysis and reconcile sales, cost and inventory, liability accounts by customer type by segments etcReview and analyse inventory and pricing margin reports, conduct research and perform analytical studies in regards to cost analysis and profitabilityPrepare, analyze and report weekly, monthly, quarterly gross margin analysisInvolve in for pricing activities, prepare and analyze inventory and pricing margin reports, conduct research and perform analytical studies in regard to cost analysis and profitabilityReconciles transactions by comparing and correcting dataMaintains database by entering, verifying, and backing up data as well as internal control and test the internal control effectivenessSupport and assist internal department reporting requirements such as audit schedules, tax schedules and othersRecommends actions by analyzing and interpreting data and making comparative analyses; studying proposed changes in methods and materialsIncreases productivity by developing automated accounting applications; coordinating information requirementsProtects operations by keeping financial information confidentialPerform the monthly closing activities including preparation of the cost to operate statement along with supporting analysisProactive analysis of variances and communication of issues and opportunities to operations managementMaintains technical knowledge by attending educational workshops; reviewing publicationsContributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as neededAny other assignments or ad-hoc requests by the superior
Job Requirement;

Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor's Degree in Finance/Accountancy/Banking and/or professional qualification recognised by MIA (candidate who is currently pursuing final stages of professional qualification could be considered for smaller entities)Minimum5 years of experience in relevant fields, preferably with manufacturing and costing experience, progressive experience in accounting management, preferably as a cost accountant in an international manufacturing/distribution organizationStrong analytical skillsProven experience in driving process improvementStrong organizational, communication and interpersonal skillsAbility to clearly and concisely communicate with non-accounting professionalsSound technical knowledge in accounting and taxReasonable knowledge in Microsoft application and Enterprise Resource Planning (“ERP”) systemsGood analytical and problem solving skillsGood communication and interpersonal skillsExcellent planning and organisation skillsResponsible and reliableHas attention for detailsCustomer centricFull-Time position(s) available
