To ensure a positive and joyful shopping experience for all IKEA visitors and customers This includes in particular

Ensure the department is fast and efficient for our customers, and cost-effective for the IKEA store

Ensure that customers’ issues are handled efficiently and with empathy

Ensuring that co-workers are supported in their daily work

Your assignment

I ensure co-workers are available and ready to help by putting customers before work tasks

I empower co-workers through knowledge, confidence, trust, authority and motivation so they are always ready to support customers in the best way possible

I always being available to deal positively and quickly with issues raised by customers thereby supporting my co-workers when they cannot resolve a need

I support and coach the co-workers to ensure customers leave with a positive impression of the IKEA store and want to come back and shop more frequently with us

I lead by example in terms of customer focus, co-operation with other departments, simplicity and give and take responsibility to optimise our customers’ experience

I follow up on the department action plan and taking action to ensure we are continually focus on achieving the agreed goals

I ensure IKEA store is a safe and secure environment at all times for visitors and co-workers

Job Requirement

Have at least 3 years of experiences in supervisory role in the Retail Industry

Experience of actively meeting customer needs through understanding customers in a service industry

Service-oriented, able to support the retail peak periods of the store and possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact actively with both internal and external visitors

Proven leadership capabilities Demonstrated capacity to lead a small team, while providing guidance, support & direction to all areas of the business within the area of your portfolio

Strategic, analytical and tactical ability, self-starter and can work with autonomy

Enjoy working in a fast-paced and future-oriented retail environment

Passionate about home furnishing, people's life at home and the IKEA range of products and services
