In addition to performing Operations Management role as listed, is responsible for the overall performance of Data Centre team.Key Results Areas:To provide onsite in depth assistance in scheduling issues and troubleshooting.Able enforce best practices in Operations toward Schedulers, Operators and DCFM.Governance over the operations team in RDC and SG on their day to day task and able to ensure that the team are following SOP and instructions.Support Project Migrations, scheduling, monitoring and new hosting at DC.With the skillset, able to help streamline and improve/automate the Scheduling and Operations.Budgeting for CAPEX and OPEX.Set KPIs for the entire operation team.Co-chair periodic or ad-hoc meetings with customers to address all operational issues related to the DC Facility.Responsible for the planning and supervision of all on going operational (including daily monitoring) and maintenance activities (including periodic and ad hoc) of the DC Facility to ensure the quality of service delivered to customer.Ensure all operation activities carry out according to the established SOPs and service management.Track and renew all the maintenance contracts within the stipulated time.Ensure all engineers deployed to this contract are equipped with the required competency level.Project manpower requirements, initiates deployment and reassignment to optimize utilization of human resources within the team.Plan and project training needs of staff to enhance skills and knowledge so as to improve productivity and enhance efficiency.Establish standards, procedures and controls to ensure Data Centre security.Requirements:Must have strong experience in managing data center operations.Must have the knowledge in batch job scheduling and processing.Have good technical knowledge in Data Center management, ITIL processes, ITSM, IT Infrastructure management.Having experience in Control M is an added advantage.Good people management, strong leadership skills, good communication skills, good team player, able to work independently, a problem solver.We regret to inform that only shortlisted candidates will be notified.
