Job Description

Roles & ResponsibilitiesProcess master data requests as well as response to emails and queries within SLA & Service StandardsExecute periodical master data clean upsEnsure internal controls are adhered toAssist Team leads to educate and create awareness and controls, governance and standard procedures of master data maintenance to the other junior team member as well as End MarketsContribute and take ownership in ensuring KPIs are met and records of requests items are up-to-datePerform verification of changes in the system based on the defined controls and proceduresProvide guidance to Junior Analysts in performing day-to-day processingAssist Team Leads in dealing with issues in the team such as business improvement, implementing policies & others operational mattersAssists Team leads in keeping updated documentation on Master DataPreparing reports and data validationTake lead to drive mini projects where support from MD is required.Note : This role will require flexibility of working on some public holidays and possibility of working hours that starts as early as 07:30 GMT+8Required SkillsBasic knowledge of fundamental accounting concepts, practices and proceduresGood knowledge on the standards and governance of master data maintenance in BATBasic knowledge and understanding in the General Accounting, Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable processes.Understand the implications of MD maintenance on these functions.Good organizational and time management skillsAbility to assess and promptly resolve problemsAbility to run and analyse reportsAbility to initiate process improvement initiativesAdded Advantage SkillsAbility to work well with other team members and achieve productive working relationshipsAbility to communicate effectively in EnglishAbility to interact courteously with customers and ensure interactions are of a high qualityAbility to coordinate with other internal departments to deliver seamless service to customersAbility to identify areas of improvement within the workspace and drive the improvement idea, execution and completionFull-Time position(s) available.
