OverviewThis position will be responsible to review, verify and assure the cost analysis and benchmarking in collaboration with Quantity Surveying and Cost Estimation throughout entire for business projects and activities, by enriching the project data, performing relevant benchmarking both internal and external, and analyze the performance to increase competitiveness and robustness of domestic and international investments as well as positioning cost leader custodianship withinbusiness while upholding health Safety and Enivironment (HSE), Quality and Integrity to achieve world-class project deliveryKey Accountabilities1 - Review, verify and assure data gathering of the relevant and important project cost information from past and ongoing domestic and international projects, by effective engagements with project teams and relevant stakeholders to build project cost database for future project cost estimation and project performance monitoring in line with business strategy to ensure cost effectiveness and competitiveness thus achieve maximize value return2 - Review, verify and assure the internal and external cost benchmarking exercise, analysis and validation in line with project requirements in order to ensure effective and reliable estimates produced meet the project scope, for domestic and international, with competitiveness and robustness as key elements while emphasizing compliance to HSE, Quality and Integrity standards and requirements to ensure final investment decision is made for optimum value creation3 - Propose and recommend the development and sustainability of system improvement in Cost Engineering Framework not limited to guidelines, tools, escalation and inflation, market trending, risk analysis, consistency and standardization, database analysis and benchmarking, in support cost development accuracy, competitiveness and robustness at all level of project sequencing incorporating all sub-processes fromallbusinessesto ensure compliance with corporate governance, and host government requirements4 - Provide assistance and establish engagements with other units that require support, services or recommendations on projects cost benchmarking, studies and analysis to relevant stakeholders and clients throughout organizationand businesses for final investment decision of all capital projects in ensuring consistency and application of industry best practicesand methodology5 - Initiate and implement the resource requirements and allocation in developing the cost database, benchmarking and analysis while ensuring coordination and alignment with Quantity Surveying and Cost Estimation.
