Willing to travel within Klang Valley & outstation to visit Tan Chong business unitsChampion, mentor, plan, lead and coordinate continuous improvement such as in Cost lean Methodology and/or Industrial EfficiencyDeploy Cost Lean Manufacturing / service tools with the goal of identification and elimination of the seven wastes of manufacturing within the GroupLead implementation and maintenance analysis of cost management to support business unitsSupport Capacity analysis, Time study on equipment uptime and cycle time for continuous improvement on cost rationalizationHelp promote and sustain a culture of continuous improvement that will result in cost savings, quality improvements and safety improvementsDevelop and deploy metrics for monitoring the progress being made at the business units, with emphasis on reporting such as cost reduction opportunities and supporting the respective business units on defined Productivity KPIs targetRegularly and proactively communicate to the cost & productivity team and peers on key outcomes and cost improvement effortsShare and benchmarking of cost productivity best practices among the business units within the GroupCarry accounting duty such as closing P&L and supporting Group Finance dept or any business units on accounting or Finance matters as and when requiredAs and when new project and/or support function are assigned accordingly by the management
Possess own transport to travel within Klang Valley & outstation (if required)Minimum qualification Business Degree / Post Graduate Diploma in Accounting / CIMA / CPA Australia / Bachelor Degree in Accounting / Commerce / Supply Chain Management / Mathematic / Economics or any Cost Management related working experienceMinimum intermediate MS Excel skill and familiar with computerized business application systems Those with input form design, charting, pivot analytical reporting & basic macro skills plus visual Power Point presentation skills would be highly advantageousThe ability to work independently within agrees deadlines and contribute to department value reportingHave good communication skills, analytical and able to understand business processes that impact costFresh graduate are encouraged to applyWork location Jalan Sultan Azlan Shah (Jalan Ipoh)We work 55 days a week
