Job Description

Main Duties and Responsibilities:

Create schedules to ensure adequate and efficient staffing at all times, including reportingstaff hours.Recruit, interview, hire, and train retail sales staff as required.Acquire product knowledge and be able to provide recommendations to customers onsuitable products.Proactively build and maintain customer relationships.Ensure all transactions are entered into POS system accurately and payment records talliedon a daily basis.Carry out regular bank-ins of cash intake and maintaining detailed transaction records.Ensure that all products and displays are maintained to the highest standards of customersatisfaction and legal requirements following the Standard Operating Procedures.Motivate staff and maintain a positive work environment.Be proactive in sourcing and reviewing new product lines.Work closely with community organiser to plan events to promote products and highlightsocial enterprise cause behind the products.Engage shoppers and undertake campaigns to build customer awareness and loyalty.Perform any other relevant duties as and when required.

Job Requirements:

Candidates must possess at least a Diploma, Bachelor’s Degree, Post Graduate Diploma, Professional Degree, or equivalentAt least 2 years of sales, customer service, retail, hospitality or related experienceExcellent communication and relationship building skillsAbility to identify opportunities to improve shop and work environmentAbility to multi-task, prioritize dutiesProficient computer skills in Word, Excel, database software and use of Internet and social media
