Job Description

Summary/Objective
The Facilities Engineer’s role is to manage, monitor and to follow-up on the overall spectrum of facility maintenance program/matters

Essential Functions/ Responsibilities

A (Facilities Engineer)
Liaise with Authority with respect to machinery inspection/renewal or new installationReview the operation of plant equipment & systems constantly, to minimize unplanned downtime, resolve problem in a timely manner & to identify opportunity for improvementMonitor the use & inventories of spare parts, maintenance supplies & equipment and initiates re-ordering pointInitiates, implements & manage the plant maintenance program, based on best practices with the emphasize on preventive/predictive maintenance (PM)Maintenance a computerized BMSEnsure that maintenance technicians are adequately trained, equipped & motivated, so that maintenance program can be accomplishedAdhere to site safety, health & environmental policies and procedureDirects, maintains, & enforce the safety program, reviews safety records to uphold to standard of maximum safety, for all employeesImplement program/procedure required to ensure 5S is sustainedAssist with planning & implementing plant improvement & expansion

B (Chargeman)
Perform PM & corrective maintenance activities & periodic checking of electrical system factoryDay to day operations of entire facilities, electrical installation & monitoring on high voltage facilities equipment performance This include overseeing maintenance & contractor workTo carry our repair, PM task on all switchboard, circuit breaker, transformer, switchgear & cleanliness of all high voltage, low voltage & generator roomConduct monitoring, trending & tracking of daily power consumption of the factory & initiative preventive maintenance o prevent/minimize equipment breakdown & power failureTo ensure new installation & maintenance are safe, correct, legal & comply with the authorityCommunicate regularly with vendors, contractor and maintenance staff for contract requirement & the daily operational activitiesProcurement of machinery partsMaintain document related to electrical & provide monthly report

Required Experience

A (Facilities Engineer)
Minimum 3 years working experience in plant maintenance field or equivalentFirm understanding of planning maintenance activitiesAnalytical reasoningAbility to detect, reason & synthesize solutionsAbility to lead & develop personnelAbility to learn theory & operation of new equipmentGood communication & organization skills
B (Chargeman)
Minimum 2 years working experience in similar environment
