Your responsibilities:Perform month end close accounting activities including preparation of journal entries, reporting package.Prepare balance sheet account reconciliation and calculation and recording of monthly entries as necessary.Ensure financial reporting in compliance to US GAAP and Local GAAP.Review and ensure compliance of financial master data.Manage inter -company reporting to ensure mis match resolve.Responsible for assets /inventory management including annual physical countSupport local transaction tax matters and prepare local tax reporting for timely submissionPerform financial analysis of accounts.Support credit management review.Coordinate external /internal audit and prepare annual audited financial statements.Work closely with GBS HUB Bangalore to resolve month end closing matters and improvement process.Implement effective internal control process and procedures for record to report (R2R) locally.Participate in special projects as necessary.Assist in other ad-hoc duties as assigned.Living ABB’s core values of safety and integrity, which means taking responsibility for your own actions while caring for your colleagues, and the business.Your background:A Bachelor’s degree in Accounting.More than 4 years of experience in financial accounting and local certified accountant.Work experience in Big 4 external audit firm will be beneficial.Strong communication skills with fluency in English, Chinese and Bahasa Malaysia.Outstanding attention to detail, accuracy, and ability to multitask.Strong knowledge of SAP, Microsoft Office Suite.
