Job Description

Our client is a Shared Service Centre in logistic industry Currently they are looking for a talent to fill GL Manager to handle US and Europe countries Leading a team of 9 staffs that including 3 Assistant Managers

POSITION SUMMARY
Responsible for GL function of in United States & EuropeResponsible for providing finance support to various stakeholders to establish financial and reporting processes and to ensure that the corporate accounting processes & policies are adhered toLeading a team of 9 staffs (3 Assistant Managers & 6 analysts)

RESPOBSIBLITIES
To manage the accounting operations to ensure accurate and timely reporting to CorporateTo ensure timely filing of statutory accounts and income tax returns for all entitiesTo lead and manage the GL team in charge of Logistics CEs in United States and Europe to perform the followingIn-charge of the monthly closing Preparation of the monthly financial statements (P&L, Balance Sheet), reports and statutory accounts in accordance to US accounting standardTo prepare monthly management and to liaise with the different departments for the annual budgeting exerciseTo liaise with auditors and taxTo participate in monthly regional operation committee meetings with RFOs and CFCsTo liaise with auditors for interim, pre-final and year –end auditsTo facilitate issues resolution or escalation to corporate level and to close key issuesTo manage resources within the team and provide coaching and guidance to accounting staff

REQUIREMENTS

Candidate must possess at least Bachelor's Degree or Professional Degree in Finance/Accounting (CPA, ACCA & etc)Minimum of 12-15 years of working experience including 4-5 years at managerial levelStrong analytical skill, working experience in a financial accounting positionPossess excellent communication and leadership skills, good team player who is dynamic and result-oriented
