Job Description

Working as part of the global sales and marketing team of GeoSolutions, this position focuses on the sales of the extensive non-exclusive geologic product portfolio The position based in Kuala Lumpur will involve a significant amount of travel within the South-east Asia region

Promote, market and sell GeoSolutions non-exclusive product portfolioUtilise existing network of client contacts as well as establishing new client relationships through cold call, email and face to face engagementPrepare and deliver technical sales/business development presentations to key decision makersFoster existing client relationships to facilitate new business opportunitiesIdentify business contacts within appropriate client teams (NV/Exploration/Research) as well as government and academic institutionsMonitor client exploration activities and government announcements to identify opportunities for new GeoSolutions non-exclusive product developmentFollow up sales/business development opportunities to an appropriate conclusionSupport technical colleagues in the development of new product from concept to activationBuild relationships with, and develop knowledge of, other CGG business lines to broaden the offerings of the company and add value to clientDevelop strategies and promotions to obtain maximum sales volumeTrack activities of key competitors to identify opportunities for Robertson GCAttend trade shows, conferences and other marketing functions

Qualifications

5+ years Digital product and Geoscience sales experienceA network of senior oil company contacts is strongly desirable with a track record of sales delivery withBSc in Geology or related subject is essential An MSc or PhD is desirableExperience delivering digital product & geoscience presentations to industry audience is advantageousKnowledge of the upstream oil and gas industryProficient in demonstrating in various software packages including Spotfire, ArcPro, and Microsoft PowerPoint
