Requirements:Candidate must possess at least Higher Secondary and/or Diploma/Advanced/Higher/Graduate Diploma in Hospitality/Tourism/Hotel Management or equivalent;Required language(s): English,Bahasa Malaysia and Mandarin to communicate with guests ;At least 2-3 year(s) of working experience in a reputable 4/5 star hotel is required for this position;Preferably Junior Executives specialized in Hotel Management/Tourism Services or equivalent;Good working knowledge of Opera Reservation system.1 Full time position available;Job Responsibilities:Assist the Front Office Manager in the overall administration and operation of the Front Office;Represent the Management in the day to day operations, be the eyes and ears of the Management;Address service and product deficiencies and look into the general well-being of our valued guests;Possess a friendly and outgoing personality to interact effectively with guests;Be willing to work on a 3-shift rotation cycle;Be responsible for the proper, efficient and profitable functioning of the Hotel;Develop, recommend and advise Management on any areas of improvements in Front Officeprocesses and strategies;Be proactive and resourceful in the analysis of trends and changing needs and expectations of guests in terms of accomodation, service and facilities;Ensure that the Housekeeping department maintains an effective level of service and cleanliness in guest rooms and public areas within budget;Achieve occupancy goals with proper sound yield management of room inventory;Ensure that the Reservation section helps achieve the yield % goal and that it provides the management with a 3 month forecast of daily bookings;Work with outsource Security for efficient surveillance and proper reporting/follow up incidents;Review and update departmental programs and offers;Undertake any other duties as may be assigned by the General Manager, diligently and professionally.
