Job Description

JOB SUMMARY

The person will lead, direct and manage the full spectrum and day-to-day Human Resources, Administration & Information Technology activities He/she will provide oversight and strategic guidance to the development and monitoring of processes related to recruitment and retention, compliance, compensation, benefits, training and development; as well as oversee administrative and information technology functions

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

Talent Management & Succession Planning



Plan, organize and monitor recruitment activities through media advertisement, employment agencies and other method for all levels of staff in order to obtain adequate pool of candidates

Establish effective selection criteria through competency based interview technique in order to ensure timely hiring of competent people with the right competencies which fit the job and the environment

Establish Succession Planning framework for the Company

Develops Terms and Reference and establish Talent Council for the Group

Develops talent management activities and formulates readiness assessment tool for talent pool to speed up development of High Potentials and to continuously supply the Company’s next generation of leaders

Develop and implement development plan and activities for potential successor

Monitor actual career development activities against developmental plan



Rewards & Recognition



Develop, design and implement a competitive compensation and benefits package in order to attract, motivate and retain employees

Continuously manage and improve alignment between rewards strategies and practices with corporate objectives to ensure effective rewards management

Participate in salary surveys as needed to ensure availability of market information for analysis

Accountable for payroll administration functions in order to ensure timely payments for a workforce of more than 70 staff are in accordance to policies & procedures and Government Regulations



Employee & Industrial Relations



Implement and review policies & procedures on employee relations as to ensure effective and harmonious relation between employer and employees where employees are treated fairly and to maintain staff motivation and discipline in order to achieve high performance and productivity

Develop, establish and review communication channels and execute communication strategies in order to provide adequate and effective means of communication between employees and Management and vice versa

Educates employees on Disciplinary policies and procedures

Represents the Company in industrial courts disputes arising from disciplinary process at conciliatory stage in accordance with the mandate



Organizational Development & Performance Management System (PMS)



Linking People Strategy with Companies Vision, Mission, Values and Philosophy Statement

Facilitate the review of company-wide organizational structure based on the strategy established

Coordinate communication of Strategic Plan to all employees by the Top Management

Aligns Department KRAs & KPIs and cascading to individual KRAs & KPIs for all executive and above positions

Execute Performance Management System implementation for Group of Companies

Design, develop and implements Performance Management System for the Company

Develops and implements policy and procedure



Learning Management



Manages in-house and external training for the Company

Develop or sourcing training and development programs for the Companies based on training needs analysis findings

Implements and analyze training measurement impact for all in-house and external training



Competency Management



Establish Core competencies for the Group

Formulated and established competency profiling for all positions in the Company

Validated and mapped the required proficiency level for each Professional and Functional competency to each position in the Company

Formulates and establish competency profiling with job incumbents and management



Administration



Assess the costs, benefits, risks and effectiveness of existing services and products to ensure the Company is aligned around user priorities and delivering on expectations

Implements selection criteria of vendors for the supply of goods and services in accordance with the guidelines

Undertakes correctives/preventive measures on office premises and telecommunications system to achieve functional and efficient work environment



Information Technology



Managing information technology and computer systems

Controlling and evaluating IT and electronic data operations

Managing IT staff



JOB SPECIFICATION



Degree in Human Resources or Business Administration or its equivalents

At least 5 years related working experience as HR Generalist and in Administration

Strong understanding and knowledge on human resource management and Malaysian’s Labour Legislation including Employment Act, Industrial Act and any other statutory Acts of Regulations

Good in communication skills

Strong computer literacy and familiar with software packages such Windows and Emails

Maintain high level of personal integrity and reliability
