Pre-requisites Experiential Learning
Supervision experience in co-curricular clubs, athletics, outdoor education, field trips, etc in the context of secondary education; IB Diploma experience a definite advantage
Experience working directly with students in service learning and/ or pastoral care programs

Enthusiastic and adaptable about learning new things despite challenges and unexpected circumstances
Collaborates through regular communication with the CAS Coordinator and other stakeholders

Duties and Responsibilities Works directly and indirectly with IB Diploma students in CAS in the two domains below
1 Ensure Appropriate Knowledge and Understanding of CAS Works through face-to-face meetings, email communication, ManageBac, and Google Classroom to
educate students on all aspects of the CAS programme in the context of the IB Diploma Program
educate students on the meaning and purpose of the CAS learning outcomes
support students in understanding ethical concerns, global issues, and international-mindedness
2 Facilitate the Development of CAS Approaches and Skills in Students Works through face-to-face meetings, email communication, ManageBac, and Google Classroom to
meet with students individually or in groups to assist them with choosing appropriate CAS experiences and projects, set achievable goals, and develop purposeful reflection skills
periodically review students’ CAS portfolios provide feedback on student reflections on their CAS learning outcomes, growth, and any learning insights
provide ongoing guidance and support to students to monitor the range and balance of CAS experiences and the appropriateness of CAS projects, and empower them to successfully complete the CAS Program
