Job Description

Our Malaysia office is searching for a motivatedHR Specialistto join our dynamic team in the Kuala Lumpur office This role will be based in our office at Petaling Jaya in Malaysia, andwill report to the Global HR Business Partner in Australia

The responsiblities of this role include

Systems Administration & Support (40%)



Collaborate with global HR/HRIS team members to perform system administration functions for HR systems such as Cornerstone and Enboarder including security administration, table configuration, data loads, reporting, running integrations etc



Identify opportunities for improving the effectiveness of processes, systems, and reports





Liaise and develop cross-functional relationships with various business functions such as IT, Finance, Communications and Operational teams to best understand their needs





Run weekly/monthly reports to in line with business requirements





Escalate systems administration and end-user issues to HRIS team members, or our partner vendors where appropriate; follow issues through to resolution (including testing, deployment, user communications)





Recommend, implement, and document internal processes and audit procedures to ensure data integrity of systems





Participate on HRIS project teams by performing business requirement gathering, business process review, project management, creating test cases, participating in QA testing and leading others through UAT, documentation development, communication, etc





Partner with other team members to manage the delivery of small HR systems projects including configuration changes and functionality deployment (including configuration, testing, documentation, peer review, sign off, training, change management etc)





Data Compilation & Analysis (40%)





Collect and analyse data from systems to produce metrics, graphs and reporting per global HR requirements





Collect and analyse data from Global HR Advisors for reporting and other publishing purposes





Design best practice templates for data capture and analysis for our various HR tasks and projects





Seek out process improvements in data co-ordination and analysis





Other Specialist Support (20%)





Lead and co-ordinate HR Specialist projects in the areas of Systems, Comp & Ben and otherHR topics as appropriate





Liaise with other India-based Global Specialists in various functions to ensure streamlined communication and data sharing





Adhoc payroll support for India and East Asia





Adhoc HR support including creative input into our programs





Our ideal candidate will possess



At leastEIGHT or more years experience in HR and Payroll systems, with Cornerstone or similar HRIS experienceis ideal



Strong Excel Macro capabilities with a solid background using MS Sharepoint and other collaboration tools advantageous





Excellent English communication skills – verbally and written, ideally from a global business environment





Experience in managing HR projects or programs with a global HR group





Strong understanding of HR, Payroll, Finance and IT business processes as well as intra and inter-departmental functions and interdependencies





Demonstrated critical thinking and analytical skills are required; ability to apply systems knowledge to troubleshoot and analyse new issues is critical





Ability to deal with sensitive and confidential information





Flexibility to work effectively with a global team and working hours
