Job Description

RESPONSIBILITIESResponsible towards day to day operations including Ensure transactions are settled and properly recorded and entered into the computerized investment accounting system Ensure accurate and timely production and delivery of fund accounting and or reporting to the stakeholders clients Ensure all compliance are adhered that all operations and transactions follow all relevant internal and external rulesPrepare reports and statistics for the department to ensure the timely submission on monthly quarterly and annually basis Support month end closing activities i e General Ledger close including preparation of manual journals and reconciliations as required Working collaboratively within the team Investment Team and Finance Team Expected to perform any administrative functions related to the daily processes JOB REQUIREMENTSCommunication and ndash able to write and communicate excellently in English and Bahasa MalaysiaHigh thinking capabilities and conceptualisation and ndash able to form a concept of ideas or opinion out of observation data experience etc and conclude logically anticipating obstacles and considers different approaches to the decision making processTeamwork - as a team member the ability and desire to work cooperatively with others on a team as a team leader the ability to drive team in difficult situation and demonstrate interest skill and success in getting groups to learn to work togetherProcess Management and ndash get things done by knowing how to organise people and work flows measuring performance simplifying simplify processes and gets more out of fewer resourcesComfort Around Higher Management and ndash can present to more senior managers without undue tension and nervousness understands how senior managers think and work to facilitate decision makingKnowledge of financial accounting requirements Proficiency in financial accounting practices and IFRS standardsGood analytical skills meticulous and able to work independentlyResults oriented fast paced resourceful and proactiveGood working knowledge of Microsoft Applications especially ExcelResilient and able to deliver under pressureJOB REQUIREMENTSMalaysian citizenPossess a Bachelor and rsquo s Degree in Accounting or equivalent qualifications recognised by the Government from any local or overseas higher learning institutionsBachelor Degree or Diploma holder in Accounting and Finance or other related qualificationHaving 1 or 2 years of related experience in Finance and or Accounting Must be proficient in Microsoft OfficeAge above 21 years old on the closing date of applicationPass Malay Language including oral test at Sijil Pelajaran Malaysia SPM level or equivalent as recognized by the GovernmentJOB STATUSContractAll applications are strictly CONFIDENTIAL and only shortlisted candidates will be called in for interview Applications are deemed UNSUCCESSFUL if there is no feedback from the EPF 3 MONTHS after the closing date of advertisement
