Job Description


Responsible towards day to day operations including
Ensure transactions are settled and properly recorded and entered into the computerized investment accounting systemEnsure accurate and timely production and delivery of fund accounting and/or reporting to the stakeholders/clientsEnsure all compliance are adhered that all operations and transactions follow all relevant internal and external rulesPrepare reports and statistics for the department to ensure the timely submission on monthly, quarterly and annually basisSupport month end closing activities ie General Ledger close including preparation of manual journals and reconciliations as requiredWorking collaboratively within the team, Investment Team and Finance TeamExpected to perform any administrative functions related to the daily processes

Communication – able to write and communicate excellently in English and Bahasa MalaysiaHigh thinking capabilities & conceptualisation – able to form a concept of ideas or opinion out of observation, data, experience etc and conclude logically, anticipating obstacles and considers different approaches to the decision making processTeamwork - as a team member, the ability and desire to work cooperatively with others on a team; as a team leader, the ability to drive team in difficult situation and demonstrate interest, skill, and success in getting groups to learn to work togetherProcess Management – get things done by knowing how to organise people and work flows, measuring performance; simplifying simplify processes; and gets more out of fewer resourcesComfort Around Higher Management – can present to more senior managers without undue tension and nervousness; understands how senior managers think and work to facilitate decision makingKnowledge of financial accounting requirements (Proficiency in financial accounting practices and IFRS standards)Good analytical skills meticulous and able to work independentlyResults oriented, fast paced, resourceful and proactiveGood working knowledge of Microsoft Applications especially ExcelResilient and able to deliver under pressure

Malaysian citizenPossess a Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or equivalent qualifications recognised by the Government from any local or overseas higher learning institutionsBachelor Degree or Diploma holder in Accounting & Finance or other related qualificationHaving 1 or 2 years of related experience in Finance and/or AccountingMust be proficient in Microsoft OfficeAge above 21 years old on the closing date of applicationPass Malay Language including oral test at Sijil Pelajaran Malaysia (SPM) level or equivalent as recognized by the Government
