Responsibilities -The incumbent is responsible to oversee Logistics Forwarding Documentation and Warehouse team function Key accountabilities are -Managing the execution direction and coordination of all Logistics warehousing documentation and forwarding function within the organization Initiate shipment plan vessel booking base on production planning Shipment planned to meet customer schedule and requirement Identify and recommend opportunities for process improvement cost saving for Logistic department Manage warehouse inventory control and delivery planning activities Liaise with relevant internal Sales Planning Production and QA for shipment related planning activities To source for most competitive and workable shipping rates and services from freight forwarders liners and hauliers Manage performance of Logistics service providers haulage companies freight forwarders and liners to ensure timely accurate routes quotations shipment and billing Ensure all shipping and receiving process are comply with customs and local authority regulation Liaise with customs MITI MIDA and other relevant government agencies approval for export shipment Ensure all shipping documents and coordination are dealt with efficiently to ensure no late documentation Ensure all warehouse facilities equipment and tools are properly maintained and complies with safety and environment guidelines Maintains high standard of warehouse housekeeping at all times Manpower planning and training for Logistics and warehouse team Requirements -Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor s Degree in Logistics Warehouse Management Business Administration Economics or equivalent Required skills SAP MS Office Process Improvement Project Management Customer Focus Innovation Mind Problem Solving Vision Presentation Diffusion Negotiation Skill Technical Expertise good organizational and time management skills Good communication skills in Bahasa Malaysia English and Mandarin both written and spoken Candidates fluent in mandarin preferred as role requires candidate to deal with mandarin speaking clients Possess strong managerial skills in handling people ability to work under pressure environment and able to work long hours if required At least 5 - 8 years of working experience specializing in Freight Shipping Logistics or equivalent is required for this position Priority will be given to those from manufacturing industry 1 Full-Time position available Candidate must be able to be based in Kulim Kedah

Dongwha Malaysia, formerly known as Dongwha Fibreboard Sdn. Bhd., is one of the early pioneers of the MDF (Medium Density Fibreboard) industry in Malaysia, commencing operations in 1993. Dongwha Enterprise Company Limited, a listed company in Korea, acquired the share capital and established a joint venture with Golden Hope In 2003. Having 3 plants located in Nilai, Merbok and Kulim, they equip Dongwha Malaysia as the one of the forerunners in wood panel manufacturing industry in Malaysia. We make MDF (Medium Density Fibreboard) and MFB (Melamine Faced Board) with the total capacity of 400k m3 and 95k m3 respectively.
The plant in Nilai, which was acquired Golden Hope Fibreboard in July 2003, is the first Dongwha Malaysia’s base for our operation. It majors in MDF manufacturing with annual product capacity of 140k m3 annually. In November 2006, Dongwha Malaysia acquired Merbok MDF, stationed in Kedah Darul Aman. It is a well-furnished plant with press systems Siempelkamp Contiroll 2.44X23.5M and Siempelkamp Contiroll 2.74X18M. It leads Dongwha Malaysia to have an additional capacity of 260,000m3 (MDF) and 100,000m3 (MFB). A year later in May 2007, Dongwha Malaysia acquired Guthrie MDF. Located in Kulim of Kedah Darul Aman, it is an expert in MDF production with equipped of Metso (Kuster) Contipress 2.44X20.96M and its annual capacity is 150,000m3.
Apart of majoring in MDF manufacturing, Dongwha Malaysia also acquired Merbok MDF resin plant in November 2006. Its main products are formalin, resin & LPL (Low Pressure Laminates).
