To be responsible for full spectrum of M&E design process for the project
Attend and coordinate all M&E matters with various Consultants, Contractors and relevant Authorities (Technical or non-technical)
Review and ensure M&E layout design in terms of functionality, buildability, maintainability, cost efficient and sustainability aspects are complied with
Implement M&E best practies in the project and drive standardisation of M&E design and provisions across various asset classes
To check and review the M&E design/ shop drawings completed by the contractors/ consultant team and provide necessary comments and inputs
Liaise and coordinate with Consultants and Contractor on site to resolve M&E design and construction issues
Value engineering on M&E design proposals submitted to optimize the cost and best practices for the M&E System in the project
Carry out routine site inspection with consultants and site team on M&E service and progress of works leading to successful testing and commissioning
Participate in construction management processes to ensure smooth progress of M&E works
To be responsible for coordination with consultants’ work from pre-concept design through construction and handing over to relevant authorities/Management Corporation
To work closely with consultant regarding the compliance of design, submission and approvals
To liaise with internal departments especially sales and engineering departments on issue related to M&E design
To undertake ad-hoc duties assigned by management, if any
Must possess at least a Bachelor Degree, Professional Degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent
Familiar with high end branded service apartment development, real estate company’s operation process and able to handle the whole process requirement of each stage
At least 6-7years of relevant experience in the related field is required for this position (preferably in M&E Consultant company)
Excellent knowledge of building services systems – Mechanical ventilation, lifts, fire protection, low voltage electrical, fiber optic, structural, M&E etc
Strong project management skills, result driven, adaptable with ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
Knowledge of construction sequencing, M&E materials building/ID materials and methods of construction
Familiar with GBI, Green mark and authorities' requirements will be an added advantage
Creative and innovative problem solver
Experience managing a large team of oversea and local consultants
Excellent in both verbal and written skills in Bahasa Malaysia, English and Mandarin
