Job Description


Accomplishes accounting human resource objectives by recruiting, selecting, orienting, training, assigning, scheduling, coaching, counseling, and disciplining employees; communicating job expectations; planning, monitoring, appraising, and reviewing job contributions; planning and reviewing compensation actions; enforcing policies and procedures

Meets accounting financial objectives by forecasting requirements; preparing an annual budget; scheduling expenditures; analyzing variances; initiating corrective actions

Identify areas of improvements in policies, processes, management accounting or decision support manuals and SOP for budgetary control and budget variance analysis

Protects organization's value by keeping information confidential


Responsible for managing the product costing, management of capital production equipment and maintenance

Plan, organize and manage all the activities of the cost accounting function

Support the Project Cost Team in the development of a standard costing system

Assist with development of labour, material and overhead standards as required

Provide input into cost accounting techniques and methodologies which improve business insight, operational results and strategic decision making

Proactive analysis of variances and communication of issues and opportunities to management

Define policies and procedures for all cost accounting activities

Analyze internal and external data in order to maximize business creation while also managing to margin targets

Evaluate relevant programs and benchmarks and recommend potential structures for pricing and programs

Analyze all pricing activities including discounts, rebate, programs, and contract price and develop recommendations to improve profitability

Review and monitoring of forecast vs budget vs actual sales report

Review commission and incentive payable to respective personnel

Prepare investment ROI, BEP and margin analysis

Any other duties and responsibilities as and when assigned by immediate reporting and management


Academic requirement

At Least Degree in Finance and Accountancy (eg CIMA, etc)


At least 5 years’ experience in the same field


Must be well with Microsoft applications

Analytical skills, well developed interpersonal skills, commercial awareness, communication skills

Able to work under highly manual and automated business processes, and to work independently

Ability to present ideas clearly to management in order to gain support and buy-in

Ability to identify critical requirements and act accordingly; independently prioritize and manage day-to-day priorities

Ability to analyses complex situations and develop solutions to those situations

Rational, logical, fact-driven decision making


Must be willing to travel

Ability for multi-tasking
