Job Description

Group FinancingManage corporate exercise bonds issuance or corporate term loans and financing initiatives project financing undertaken by MISC Group of Companies The task includes Review and determine the Group s financing requirements project and corporateCompile and evaluate financing proposals from banks from response to Request for Proposals RFP Ensure necessary Bank Negara Malaysia BNM Foreign Exchange Administration FEA rulings are met Propose the most efficient and optimal financing structure and plan including to assist in setting up a new Special Purpose Vehicle SPV company in consultation with Tax CoSec and Business Units Review and negotiate Term Sheets and loan documentation with Legal and lenders Review commercial documents to ensure that the contract is bankable for project financing Support business teams in the bidding process Review project and group cash flow Manage the inter-company loans with subsidiaries and joint venture companies in supporting their project and working capital requirements The task includes Review and negotiate terms and conditions with subsidiaries Liaise with Legal team in finaliing the inter-co loan agreements Financing Advisory - Support corporate exercise and or special projects with respect to Funding strategy options to meet the requirements of Bid Tender document on potential business ventures or Capital structure for the MISC Group and subsidiaries in existing and new ventures through the development of financial models and or funding plans to support financing proposals and tender bid submissions respectively Credit Ratings Review - Manage the rating exercise by rating agencies international local in collaboration with the Group Accounts section to facilitate fundraising via the Debt Capital Market MISC Group Annual Financing PlanProvide support in the annual Financing and Budgeting exercise Economic outlook or SWAT analysis Key Performance Business Indicators KPBIs Lead the financing team in preparing the loan schedule based on the DE structure of projectManage the development of financial models for Business Units Subsidiaries which includes financing structure for planned and existing projects Group Forex and Interest Rate Risk ManagementMonitor and manage interest rates and currency exposure on loans Review and recommend hedging options and structures Review and negotiate ISDA and hedging documents Execute hedging transaction to manage forex and interest rate risks Group Loan Administration and ComplianceMonitor and manage MISC Group s loan borrowings covenants qualititative and quantitative to ensure compliance to financing covenants Group policies and guidelines financial risk framework and BNM regulations both management and statutory-relatedReview the compliance documents before submission Manage the loan administration reporting aspect for all external and inter-company loans Review the quarterly reports for submission to BNM Lead discussions with the Lenders during any potential waiver request exercises in the event of a breach to covenants People DevelopmentProvide specific guidance and motivation to drive the development of subordinates to best support the Group s business growth and operational needs Job Requirement Candidate must possess at least a Professional Certificate Bachelor s Degree Post Graduate Diploma Professional Degree Finance Accountancy Banking Economics or equivalent At least 10 years of working experience in Finance Treasury Accounting required for this role Exoerience in Oil and Gas industry is an added advantage Preferably Managers specializing in Corporate Financing Project Financing Full-Time positions available
