Job Description

Lead CIM team and source, procure, implement & maintain CIM Systems:

Gather and manage user requirements.

Produce system & functional specifications.

Evaluate vendor proposals and recommend solutions.

Purchase systems and services.

Work with the vendors to ensure that the systems are implemented safely and successfully (staffing, schedule, risk management, acceptance testing & commissioning, integration with other systems, co-ordination with end users and other GLOBALFOUNDRIES departments, documentation, bug fixes, warranty support)

Responsible for strategic planning and ensure system software upgrade successfully based on patches, new releases and user requirements with minimum cost.

Manage & develop the team of CIM Engineer(s) and Associate(s), who are directly responsible for:

Providing 24 by 7 first-line supports to the end users.

End user training.

Preventative maintenance, reporting.

Spares management.

System, applications & data backups & recovery.

Resources and Successor planning and development

Responsible for the complete capital & expense budget-cycle through the best approach aligned with Business Requirement. Prepare, submit for approval, commit, track and report.

Initiate and drive cross-fabs benchmark to minimize system gap & self-propagate BKM to cross-fabs for standardization

Initiate and collaborate with cross-functional teams to provide best solution to end-users.

Member/chair of CIM Process Change Review Board (PCRB), to manage, review, approved critical CIM Changes

Adhere to CIM escalation procedure and MSSI protocols

Responsible and accountable for complying with and implementing environmental, health, safety and security (EHSS) system, policies, procedures and guidelines that are applicable to your scope of work, thereby maintaining a healthy and safe workplace.
Bachelor Degree in CIM, Automation, Mechanical or Electronics Engineering or equivalent with at least 8~10 years of related working experiences, or Master Degree with at least 5 years of related working experiences. Experiences in Wafer Fabrication environment CIM, Systems Integration and Project Management.Camstar MES experience preferredGood team worker, attitude, interpersonal & communication skills, tactful, strong leadership skills, customer-oriented, good project management skills, self-motivated, independent. Systems thinking.
