Job Description

JOB PURPOSE :

Formulates, via intensive and extensive use of data analytics, short- and long-term business strategies to drive business directions; boost market share; improve positioning and propositions

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES :
Plans and analyses key performance trends and insights using relevant and meaningful data, i.e. customer segmentation and profitability, campaign analytics, etc.Studies and analyses the customer behaviors and market changes to significantly improve performance outcomes, increase wallet shares and ultimately improving revenue growth for the business.Manages and interprets activity/campaign outcomes, i.e. ensuring that the right channels and pricing models are used for specific target segments.Participates in transformation work under Affinity.Analyses revenue, profitability and cost savings opportunities of existing portfolio and future bookings via in-depth understanding of customer, portfolio and transactional behaviors, trends and insights.Researches market conditions, competitors and market alternatives to ensure the Bank remains in the forefront of SME and Commercial propositions.Keeps abreast of market developments with deep understanding for potential applications and benefits to the Bank.Uses business analytics tools to improve the ability to target products and services to the right customer segments and measure customer and product profitability such as Excel, SAS and Qlikview.Monitors, extracts, verifies, validates and interprets data to ensure that is reasonably accurate and usable for research and Bank’s business.Analyzes and interprets data collected using Excel spreadsheet and statistical techniques, summarize and provide insights for business plan.Writes, imports, exports and executes database SQl scripts for data extraction.Facilitates research and analyses on new business opportunities for new and existing customers database to increase cross sell ratio and product penetration with actionable recommendations to business team.Summarizes and interprets statistical results – perform statistical analysis which includes correlation and trend studies for business justifications.Ensures continuous improvements / enhancements in intelligence reporting.Ensures the accuracy and correctness of data.

JOB REQUIREMENTS :
Degree in any discipline, preferably Finance, Statistic, Business Administration or Banking it’s equivalent.Must have at least 4 - 6 years’ work experience in a related position with good track record.Aproactive individual with good initiative, resourceful and creative.Passion for customer service innovation and continuous improvement.Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.Sound analytical, problem solving with good report writing skills.Able to work independently under pressure with tight deadline.Able to work under pressure and handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced business environment.A proactive individual with good initiative and drive, resourceful and creative.Proficient in MS Office Applications.
