Job Description

The Marketing Manager is responsible for jointly driving e-Commerce website Working with Affiliate, Regional and Global stakeholders, the incumbent will be primarily responsible for defining an e-Commerce strategy and roadmap to increase brand awareness, improve online consumer engagement and drive site traffic, conversion rate and sales You will be responsible in scaling up our user acquisition strategies You will work closely with the Managing Director and COO, helping the company to reach its next stage of growth

Job Responsibilities

PAID CHANNELS



Manage the day to day operations of all of our active Paid Channels (SEM, FB Ads, GDN, Retargeting)

Scale up and allocate efficiently our marketing budget across our paid channels, while trying to lower at the same time our overall CAC



ORGANIC CHANNELS

Email Marketing



Optimize EDMs campaigns by means of rigorous A/B testing and channel

Set up a comprehensive automated email campaigns’ strategy (DRIP campaigns) with the objective of increasing our customers’ retention and LTV



SEO



Onsite – provide technical guidance to our COO on the onsite optimizations needed and make sure that any future development is SEO complaint

Offsite- ideate and execute white-hat link building strategies with the goal of improving our domain authority



Onsite Marketing



Periodically collect qualitative and quantitative customers’ insights, so to always have a crystal-clear understanding of our website’s areas of improvement

Ideate and run A/B tests with the objective of improving of the platform’s conversion rate



Data Analysis



Daily/weekly/monthly analysis of each channels performances, enabling a timely and dynamic allocation of our marketing budget

Advanced monthly cohort analysis of our different markets and acquisition channels

Evaluate e-commerce campaign and spend effectiveness

Analyse and explain site metrics trends and recommend analytics-driven changes to brand



Tracking & Reporting



Conduct weekly or monthly business reviews with Brands and Affiliates

Evaluate e-commerce campaign and spend effectiveness

Analyse and explain site metrics trends and recommend analytics-driven changes to platform



Campaign Management



Plan, manage and execute e-commerce programs and campaigns across Affiliate

Take ownership of platform consolidated annual, quarterly and monthly campaign calendar

Define business requirements, operational metrics and key performance indicators for campaign measurement

Proactively identify and resolve issues and roadblocks that arise during the course of campaign execution

Execute and analyse campaigns to ensure and maximize effectiveness and produce optimal ROI



Project & Team Management



Oversee and coordinate the work of our Social Media Manager and Graphic designer

Work alongside our Tech team to build new marketing tools, additional tracking integrations or new onsite SEO improvements

Take business ownership of new site launches and functionality enhancements



Job Requirements



Minimum of 2-3 years of working experience in a performance marketing role of an online venture (ideally an e-commerce start-ups)

Experience in e-commerce or Online Marketing gained from a consumer-focused Brand, e-commerce provider or digital agency practice

Basic understanding of the CSS, HTML, JavaScript, and W3C standards

Excellent knowledge of Web Analytics platforms (GA primarily)

Strong analytical mind-set - experience with data-driven metrics to manage and measure business impact

Skilled at influencing opinion to accomplish business goals and objectives while maintaining strong interpersonal relationships

Demonstrated success driving cross-functional initiatives to completion

Decisive, can make sound decisions in the face of pressure

Extremely detail orientated with strong sense of work prioritisation

Outgoing, proactive, fast-learning, independent and innovative genuinely passionate about online marketing and start-ups
