The Marketing & Promotion Manager is a dedicated marketing resource assigned to lead, plan and execute annual, property-wide, integrated and innovative strategic marketing programs that drive foot traffic and improve top-of-mind awareness for the shopping complex.Key Responsibilities:Strategy DevelopmentAssist with the development of a long-term, research-based, strategic vision for the centre and its competitive marketplace.Lead cross-functional teams and drive strategic direction to deliver an innovative, integrated annual marketing plan and budget leveraging a broad marketing mix to position the shopping complex strongly in the market and drive engagement, mall traffic, increased shopper spend and frequency of visits, and awareness of the shopping complex tenant portfolio.Have a very detailed understanding of sales performance and traffic results and their implication to on-going strategy.Research and maintain expertise in current and emerging consumer marketing trends and experiences.PlanningProject manage the creation, delivery and optimization of marketing campaigns – from large/complex to short/specific – that deliver on the value proposition of the annual marketing plan.Strictly and diligently manage marketing budget process.Collaborate and lead to plan, execute and measure creative and impactful digital and traditional media strategies.Seek and encourage retailer participation in marketing programs as an effort to promote their business and add value to overall marketing efforts.Leverage Project Management platform(s) to organize and inform work-teams, document decisions, share creative assets and assign tasks.Provide regular status reports and briefings to stakeholders and functional leadership teams.Day-to-Day ExecutionAct as the shopping complex lead marketing contact and collaborate with Corporate Public Relations and external agencies to create strong plans to complement our marketing programs.Deliver creative and flawlessly executed marketing events and activations that are included in the marketing plan - including retailer programming, events, sponsorships, partnerships, influencer programs, promotions, and seasonal campaign integration – on time and on budget.Oversee traditional and digital marketing strategies and activities for the property, including social and web publishing, SEO measurement, optimization, and maintenance while ensuring alignment with editorial guidelines and brand standards.Develop and nurture strong community relationships.Create traffic generating, no cost community and non-profit events and partnerships.Manage and prioritize work effectively to ensure internal deadlines, timetables and approvals are met.Other duties as assigned.Qualifications :Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications or relate field required, Master’s degree preferred.8+ years of B2C marketing experience, including digital and retail and/or related shopping complex marketing experience.3+ years’ experience in digital marketing.Experience at a marketing agency a plus.Strong understanding of Public Relations.Strong experience with strategic planning and project management.
