Job Description

1 P&L Accountability



To lead and drive Innovations, technician Leads, service route density, efficiency and productivity

Deliver the right number of services, on time, to the customer’s quality expectations at the lowest possible cost

Ensures achievement of targets

Manage investments and operational expenditures in line with achieving financial and operational target



2 Operational Responsibility



Engage hearts and minds of >360 people - to get ordinary people to do extraordinary things that they might not ordinarily do for themselves

Drive change and develop capability

Responsible for managing day-to-day operations and core functions of operations in order to achieve operational excellence

Forecast, plan and coordinate all activities/manpower and resources to achieve optimum output, quality and yield

Reviewing and approving equipment, stock and other expenditure needs

Develop KPIs with team members and monitor individual/team performance

Ensures clear communication of company strategy and directions

Ensures alignment, achievement and measure of agreed business strategy

Lead coaching, mentoring, ensures alignment and individual contribution of team members in achieving Branch and Company targets

Drives and encourages excellent total team performance



3 Customer support



Aligns customer satisfaction programs with other including Sales, Customer Care, Customer Service and Marketing

Builds partnering relationships with Key Customers together with Sales, Customer Care and Customer Service

Support on key accounts and tender projects service requirements and drive executions to meet the requirements





4 Technical and Service Capability



Drive leads by Service Technicians

Lead technical and service capability initiative to improve efficiency of Pest Control and Hygiene operations

Direct the establishment, implementation and maintenance of service standards

Manage and coordinate various projects essential to technical and services procedures (eg, training, safety, housekeeping, cost reduction, worker involvement, security, etc)



5 Quality Management Systems



Lead and sustain the Quality & Environment Management Systems in line with the required standards (ISO 90012015, ISO 140012015, ISO450012018, bizSAFE level star)



6 Inventory Management



Manage warehouse inventory/SKUs/Returned/Refurbished units Work with customer support procurement processes and coordinate material and resources allocation

Direct the warehouses’ operations, inventory controls, resource planning and safety

Work with procurement on inventory management and improving processes



7 Digitization & Continuous Improvement



Drive digital platforms and deploy all tools to improve efficacy and efficiency in service delivery

Support digitization to improve efficacy and efficiency in service delivery by deploying appropriate tools

Drive continuous improvement in operations through technology



8 Administration



Ensures accurate and timely compliance of all branches to all required returns and reports

Conducts analysis to information and reports generated by Branches and be able to formulate informed commercial decisions

Communicates derived analysis and forward plans to reporting line

Establish Standard Operating Procedures



9 Compliance & Risk Management



Ensure in compliance with the laws, regulations, compliance policies and standard operating procedures including Rentokil Initial Pink Notes and Fumigation Standards,

Identifies, prevents or manages internal and external risks that may affect financial position and/or brand image of the company

Advises reporting line of such internal and external risks



10 Safety Health and Environment



Ensure all activities comply with legal and SHE requirements, SHE policy, guidelines and procedures to ensure safe service deliverables to customers

Communicates and ensures compliance of the SHE policy and programs to all Branch employees

Ensures employees comply in carrying out work in a safe manner, without risk to the employee, colleagues and general public

Assures compliance to SHE periodic and incident reporting

Ensures conduct of periodic SHE meeting and awareness

Drive SHE Awareness and Improve Effectiveness of SHE Management



11 Care of Company Assets



Ensures proper commercial use, maintenance and security of the Branch premises, vehicles, equipment, inventory, tools and other company property



12 Key Performance Indicator Management



Directly manages Branch targets and key performance indicators including but not limited to APBITA, State of Service, Productivity, Customer Retention



The Requirements



Degree in Sales/Commercial and/or Marketing/other equivalent

Track record in service industry and/or sales and operations experience in a consumer or B2B business environment are preferred

At least 10 year(s) of commercial working experience managing over 300 Frontline Service Staff required

Preferably Senior Managers specializing in service operation or equivalent

An outstanding leader with a proven record of impacting performance and delivery of an effective operations function

Strong team player with exceptional people skill

Excellent communication skills across all levels of the business

Strong analytical skills, strategic in management planning

Familiar with Merger & Acquisitions and Integrations preferred

Proactive with strong results and service orientation

Sound business acumen

Candidate must be able to work in a fast-paced environment, multi-task and handle multiple deadlines

Candidate must possess a high degree of professionalism, integrity, initiative and handle multiple deadlines
