Candidate must possess at least Bachelor's Degree in Engineering.
At least 2Year(s) of working experience in the related field is required for this position.
Reports to Project Director and/or Chief Executive Officer (CEO) on matters related to the day to day operations of the company.
Accountable to the CEO and/or Project/Technical Director (TD) on operational activities of the Integrated Waste Management Processing Plant (IWMPP) located in Kota Kinabalu.
Monitor day to day activities at the project site. The Site Supervisor shall report to the Operations Executive.
Ensure IWMPP project shall meet company targets on productivity, quality standards, health & safely compliance, environmental compliances, industries standards, customer satisfaction and stakeholder management.
Liaise with landfill operational team of Dewan Bandaraya Kota Kinabalu (DBKK) on all site matters particularly on inventory records, project & assets security, access road & drainage maintenance, entry/exit of private waste trucks etc.
Liaise with consultant engineers, such as C&S, M&E, QS, etc.
Monitor service performances of sub-contractors, vendor, suppliers and others.
Develop standard operation procedures (SOP) for task specific activities particularly for activities directly related to productivity, quality control & assurances, purchasers or buyers’ requirement, health & safely management, environmental management, emergency control plan & others.
Advise the CEO or TD on matters related to engineering, service, maintenance and operational management for IWMPP project and other related ancillary activities.
Provide site and local supports for company management on matter related to administrative and non-technical matters pertaining to IWMPP projects.
Able to read, write and communicate in English & Bahasa Malaysia.
Well versed in Microsoft Office & other computer applications / software.
Able to travel at short notice.

Borneo Waste Industries Sdn Bhd will be implementing an Integrated Waste Management Processing Plant (IWMPP) at the Kayu Madang Sanitary Landfill located in Telipok, Kota Kinabalu. The project will bring a world class range of waste management processes to Sabah. It is the company’s aspiration for this project to become the benchmark against which all future waste management projects in Malaysia will be measured. Candidates with a strong interest in hands on engineering with a good aptitude for multi tasking in an up and coming industry will be most suited for this position.
