Job Description

Lead the project management and support (PMS) teamEnsure projects managed by the assigned team achieves “Project Success” through planning, communications, coordination, execution and monitoring according project management best practicesMentor junior team membersAssign tasks and responsibilities to team membersProvide direction and support for IT solutions that enhance mission-critical business operationsCollaborate directly with the executive management team and decision makers in other divisions to identify, recommend, develop, implement and support cost-effective technology solutions for the organizationHelp to provide vision and leadership for developing and implementing information technology initiatives across all areas of the organizationEvaluate feasibility of potential projects, highlight risks and give recommendationsEnsure that project risks are managed properlyReport on PMS team project progress on a regular basisHands-on management of complex, high-value or high-risk projectsWhere capable and appropriate, supervise PMS team in providing technical assistance and support to internal staff and external clientsParticipate in the “Solutioning” phase during pre-sales as a foundation for potential projectsPrepare proposalsAny other tasks assigned by the management deem necessary as and when required
Requirements
Minimum a degree or diploma in Software Engineering, Information Technologies, Computer Science or related course in computers/technologyMinimum 8 years’ experience in the IT industry with at least 4-6 of those years in a project management roleProfessional Project Management certification (such as PMP, CAPM, Prince2) is an advantageGood command of English language is a mustHave good understanding of formal project management methodology and processExcellent interpersonal, leadership skills and communication skillsExcellent organizational and managerial abilitiesExcellent analytical, troubleshooting and decision-making abilitiesExcellent verbal & written communication skills and able to communicate with people from all levelsA flair for business and ability to align self and team with the business objectivesGood leadership skillsIndependent and self-motivatedDisciplined and meticulousExperience in Software engineering is an advantageExperience in Authentication, PKI or IT security products & solutions is an advantage
