This role can be a 12 months renewable contract role or a permanent role depending on candidate's experience

Job Purpose/Overview

The Process Owner is the functional expert and leader in the development and application of world class business processes Having this role is vital to the sustainability and continued growth of Mars, Inc The role owner is an acknowledged professional who ensures currently accepted best practices are consistently applied and effectively managed for a specific, or multiple functional areas You as the role owner will have the opportunity to make tremendous difference in the region by growing your knowledge of Mars, Inc business practices and rolling them out in your respective area across Developing Asia and North Asia

Key Responsibilities
Business Process ExpertiseIs expected to develop personal functional knowledge to be the focal point for SAP/Helios/HFM business process expertise in Developing Asia and North Asia This includes Understanding best in class business template processes and the related data needed to enable theseUnderstanding local and regional variances to current template / best practice processTo be able to provide functional support, as a first point of escalation, to Key Users in troubleshooting issues as they ariseTo be able to co-ordinate and lead remedial activities which have a regional or cross functional dimensionTo be able to measure effectiveness of processes in operation (KPIs, conformance, etc…) and communicate the results

Business Process ImprovementsLead the SAP/Helios/HFM Continuous Improvement activities across the region This includesContinuous deployment of Mars global template and best practice process improvements to Developing Asia and North Asia units, using appropriate Change Management process and toolsIdentify gaps / opportunities for change with local business processes to derive business benefits ( in conjunction with local key users )Co-ordinate testing of new process / system releases and enhancements across the regionUnderstand and drive local process change in line with global best practiceTake the opportunity to participate and influence future template process design and development

Develop & Sustain Regional Key User NetworkLead the SAP/Helios/HFM Key User network across Developing Asia and North Asia to ensure business process expertise is developed, sustained and harnessed to deliver business benefits This includes Assess the overall capability of the SAP/Helios/HFM Key User network and develop actions plans to address any issues (functional knowledge gaps, poor coverage of business area, etc…)Coach, train and support development of regional Key Users expertiseEncourage discussion and sharing of best practice across the Key User teamLink the region Key users with the global similar teams to share knowledge and best practices

Project & Change ManagementDelivery of relevant business improvement projects to the agreed plans This includesLeadership of the relevant business project ( for small projects ) or Functional Area leadership ( for large projects )Ensure delivery of the project /activities to agreed timing, budget and business benefits caseFacilitate all Project phases for successful and high quality implementation and provide feedback to the project manager on challenges and risks as you go

Professional Qualification/Experience
5 to 7 years’ experience in their functional area and ideally knowledge of the relevant business processesStrong experience in finance function with operational experience in Demand Finance and/or Supply finance and finance transaction processing areasHands on knowledge of SAP functionalities (SAP implementation experience; SAP certification will be added advantage) Strong analytical skills and drive for resultsExperience in project management &/or change management activitiesAbility to manage diversity and work in an international environmentSkills / experience with IT / systems – experience of SAP (ATLAS), Helios and HFM is requiredStrong interpersonal and communication skillsAbility to travel up to 50% of the time
