Job Description

1 Leadership

• Develop, coach and empower team members

• Give direction, drive performance and set clear goals for team members

• Foster team work among the team members and cross-divisional

• Communicate openly and create a feedback culture in the team

2 Oversee the performance of the Singapore (include Vietnam and Philippines), Malaysia and Thailand Microscopy teams

3 Manage the installation, commissioning and warranty equipment activities

4 Coordinate and provide Sales Support & Field Support when required

5 Customer Service / Support as well as issue resolution; ensure open service issues are closed out in a timely manner

6 Provision of Demo Products maintenance to ensure excellent product performance in all demonstrations

7 Provision of technical sales assistance in product configuration selection inclusive of software and hardware recommendations

8 Participation in service training to internal and external customers, such as training of new Service Engineers and Customers etc

9 Report to the Head of Service, SEA on any product issues experienced such as standards of production, quality and safety of the product range

10 Liaison work involving spare parts ordering, shipment, installation and after sales service which interact between sales, logistics, customers and Product & Application Sales Specialist etc

11 Provision of follow-up support to customers after equipment installation to ensure a smooth completion of the contract

12 To be responsible and to assist the Head of Service, SEA in Service Agreements business opportunities and Service Sales

13 Assist in the introduction of new products into the supply programme and ensure communication of support requirements to supporting functions

14 Assist monitoring and manages the day-to-day operations if require, overseeing records maintenance, ensuring that procedures are being followed and assisting in resolving complex problems which require professional level input

15 To actively participate in the NPS, CPO process and comply to all ISO and other regulatory requirements

Job Requirements

1 At least Diploma or Degree in Engineering / Project management

2 Work experience in Field Service or Operations in fast pace industry environment are an added advantage

3 Work experience in Service Management / other management position are an added advantage

4 Strong people management skills

5 Previous regional exposure is an added advantage

6 Prior experience with Microscopy / Imaging Systems is preferred but not essential

7 Have understanding in financial and budgeting

8 Have knowledge in driving continuous improvements and project management

9 Proven leadership record, decisive, proactive and risk taker

10 Customer oriented focus and proven customer management skills with great communication and negotiation ability

11 Able to multitask and work in high-pressure situations

12 Experienced in product knowledge and technical skills

13 Analytical and solution-oriented thinking

14 Good command of written and spoken English
