Job Description

Job Responsibility

• Work with Country Compliance in establishment of anti-money laundering procedures, processes and controls within Private Bank to ensure alignment with Group and Country AML Policy
• Conduct scheduled and ad hoc review and testing on all business unit processes which includes end-to-end sales to operations functions
• Provide regular update to HOD and team on new processes and policies
• Provide regular training to staff on compliance and regulatory requirements This includes comprehensive training for all new staff of the business unit
• Raise awareness on money laundering and terrorism financing among staff for Private Bank
• To facilitate all audit and compliance review
• Liaison with Country Compliance, Legal and other entity on overall business unit processes and compliance/Legal approval matters
• To immediately highlight to business unit HOD on any breaches/possible breaches, business risk, suspicions and concerns
• Participate in strategic AML projects and initiatives
• To conduct BCP, KRCSA and KORI for Private Bank

Job Requirement

• Possess at least 5 years experiences in handling money laundering and terrorism financing matters with financing institution;

• Possess knowledge in risk management in term of Business Continuity Planning, Key Risk Operational Indicators, etc
• Have sound knowledge on matters related to regulatory – Foreign Exchange Administrative Rules, Securities Commission, Bank Negara Malaysia

• Degree in Accountancy, Business Management, Banking or Law; or
• Possess more than 10 years experiences in handling money laundering and terrorism financing matters with financial institution can also be considered
