The Role Repair Development Engineering Manager

The Repair Development Engineering Manager ensures all Repair Development Engineering, Process Engineering, Tools & Equipment Engineering and Facilities Management activities in Component Maintenance run adequately to support operational needs and attainment of business goals

Job responsibilities
To promote a positive Safety Culture and to ensure that Safety and Quality Policy is communicated/promoted and implemented within the OrganizationTo ensure that all elements of the SMS are properly implemented, maintained and continuously improved by fulfilling all SMS related duties and responsibilities as defined in SMS ManualEnsure operational capability management (build up, maintain, wind down) for Component MaintenancePerform all activities related to the successful introduction of New Product Capability to the Component Maintenance OperationsEnsuring cost control of Projects are within budget throughout the length of the projectEnsure phase in of tools & test equipment under economical aspects and on timePerform and document required Tool and Test Equipment equivalency to ensure compliance to technical dataEnsuring all Tools and Test Equipment are properly maintained in accordance to the proposed maintenance schedule or BETEnsuring all Process Engineering activities including material and process equivalency is in accordance to the stipulated requirementsDevelop and maintain relevant documents (eg BET, T&TE equivalency statements) is performed to the required standard and documentationEnsure technical support of Component MaintenanceEnsure that all work will be performed according given and valid rework Processes, Procedures and Instructions supported by appropriate documentationPreparation, review and approval of the work documentations for Component Maintenance and perform risk assessment for introduction of new work methodsProcessing ongoing Component Maintenance Manuals revisions of the original equipment manufacturer and their discrepanciesEnsuring Facilities Management activities are in order and is able to meet the operational requirements of Component Maintenance and stakeholdersContinuously improve processes by participating in CI activities such as Master Trainer, Waste Walks etcActively manage organizational performance Drive cost management and performance driven culture through periodic target setting and regular structured follow-up with all staffContinuous optimization of Processes, Procedures and Working MethodsSupporting other departments like Sales and Strategic Procurement in actively looking for new opportunities for new capability developmentFollow up developments in Component, Part or Appliance rework by fostering appropriate connections with other companies and organizations

Qualification & Requirements
Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor's Degree, Professional Degree in Engineering (Aviation/Aeronautics/Astronautics), Engineering (Chemical), Engineering (Mechanical), Engineering (Mechatronic/Electromechanical) or equivalentWorking experience in an Aerospace Industries/ MRO/ Operations environment (min 5years)Experience in the use of ERP/ SAP/ Microsoft (min 5years)Good knowledge in project management tooling developmentLanguages English C1Preferably Managers specializing in Aviation/Aircraft Maintenance or equivalentFull-Time position(s) available
