Job Description

• Train and develop the Housekeeping team in proper procedures and appropriate performance of duties to ensure smooth running of the residences in various regional locations
• Ensure similar standard across regional residences;
• Writing and reviewing of household manuals / SOPs for owner’s approval and monitor the committed and effective implementation by all team members
• Sourcing, recruiting and selecting of suitable housekeeping team;
• Plan and execute housekeeping staff trainings (hard and sift skill) ensuring efficiency of the housekeeping and other supporting teams
• Monitor staff working schedules to ensure adequate manning, supplies and equipment for household to carry out their duties
• Set standard of selecting external suppliers and service providers
• Set standard for maintenance and supply contracts; and ensure housekeeping team is skilled to demand
• Supervise the Housekeeping team to ensure execution of the trained standard; Develop checklist for monitoring
• Frequently interact with owners to maintain direct communication and compliance with their needs
• Schedule and conduct regular communication meetings with all the team members to align efforts in upholding the household management systems as well as motivating the team to achieve maximum performance efficiency and standard as directed by the owners


• Degree in Hospitality or Hotel Management
• Minimum 10 years experience in the hospitality industry, with 5 years in management role as an Executive Housekeeper/ Chief Butler in the 5-star hotels or elite residences
• Training capacity in housekeeping protocols
• Vendor and project management skills
• Proficient in MS Office applications
• Pleasant personality with excellent interpersonal skills and a strong team player
• Experience in delivery of a discreet, confidential and unobtrusive service yet maintaining the fine etiquettes to represent the household
• Ability to anticipate others’ wishes and adapt accordingly
• An eye for detail with keen interest in antiques, fine wine and flower arrangement
• Self demand for high standard
• Flexible to accommodate to owners working timing, which can sometimes cover weekends and public holidays
