Candidate must possess at least Diploma/ Advance / Higher / Graduate Diploma in any field.Min 5 Year(s) of working experience in the hotel sales sector is required for this position.Able to achieve the monthly sales target as per the sales plan.Strong in Corporate and Government Sector. Able to bring in New Account.Plan, coordinate and implement sales visit/ potential clients, cold calling to ensure optimum efficiency and capabilities in sales.To do regular competitors surveys on events being held at competitors hotels.To entertain potential and regular clients to secure business and maintain rapport.To coordinate with relevant supporting departments on all pertinent and special arrangements regarding each event.To increase occupancy, average rate and profits of the hotel through active sales, planning, guidance and training of hotel s sales employees.To represent the sales functions and needs of the hotel in the development of the Company s sales policy.To maintain a sales filing system and create individual account files to monitor this data via the database system.To identify the hotel s target markets utilising data contained in the database system and develop an appropriate sales solicitation strategy for both domestic and international markets.To maintain personal contact with key customers and to support the activities of any members of the sales team when required.To respond to any changes in the department function as dictated by the industry, company, or hotel.To perform ad-hoc tasks assigned by superior from time to time.Must be team player and able to work on flexi hours.
