Job Description

Our client is looking for qualified candidate to fill in the position as Sales Manager -

Job responsibilities -
In cooperation with regional leadership develop and execute a strategy to grow revenue and market share for assigned regionSet clear goals and develop regional sales plans and drive accountability with the sales teamAchieves satisfactory profit/loss ratio and market share in relation to preset standardsTogether with regional leadership, direct market channel development activity and coordinate sales distribution by establishing sales territories, quotas, and goalsDevelop and maintain working knowledge of CRM system and how it relates to customer sales and productGather and maintain information of competitive product offerings and programsAnalyzes and controls expenditures of division to conform to budgetary requirementBe an effective business partner with other stakeholders, including; Operations, Regional Sales, Regional Finance and HR, MarketingGeographical coverage to include travel on a regular basis to Singapore, Malaysia, Indonesia, Vietnam, Thailand and PhilippinesOverall sales responsibility will include project system sales and maintenance- repair- operating (MRO) spares to existing plantsProduct selling responsibility and focus is electric & steam heat tracing systems for pipes, vessels and instrumentation and process electric heatersCustomer profile will typically include end users, contractors and EPC’s in the following industries Oil & Gas, Refining, Petrochemical, Storage Terminals, Power, Process Plants and Shipbuilding
Requirements -
Total working experience 15 years minimum Also 5 years outside sales in SEA regionExperience in heat tracing / process handling products 3 - 5 yearsMinimum of a Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering (preferably process, electrical or mechanical) from a reputable universityStrong technical ability Ability to understand and communicate technology and specifications to customers;Direct contact with major end users and EPC’sPreferred to have experience in handling distributors & agents in relevant industrial sales in SEAProven track record of growing sales in SEA regionAble to travel at least 50-60% of the time within the region as definedExperience building a high performing teamVerbal and written fluency in EnglishExperience with the utilization and deployment of CRM toolsExcellent working knowledge of Microsoft Office programsPositive, self-sufficient, hands on and practical personalityConfident, self-assured and optimistic about management initiatives and ability to deliver superior results to the businessPosition based in Bangsar, KLBasic salary + commission and allowances
